Description of Work

Due to property being built on a concrete base without a damp proof membrane water ingress was entering through the foundations. First of all, we dug down 2 feet around the perimeter of the property to expose the foundations then cleaned down foundations substrate, 2 coats of SBR latex glue was applied as an adhesion for 2 coats of hydradry tanking applied by trowel. Once this was set and dry 2 coats of enviroseal damp proof membrane paint was applied to tanking as a secondary water proofer then back filled with pea gravel to act as a soak away to divert water away from foundations.

Due to the time of year the technicians had to work in very cold weather. We had sewage and services pipes to seal and make water tight which was awkward at times.
